📚 Introduction
When a customer shares their referral link with a friend, it needs to lead somewhere. That destination is known as your Referral Landing Page.
By default, referral links direct friends to your store’s homepage — but you can change this to any URL of your choosing. Many merchants prefer to use a custom page to create a tailored referral experience.
This feature is available on the Starter plan and above.

⚙️ Instructions
For the referral process to work correctly, the page you link to must include an Influence widget.
Simply press the edit button & copy in the URL that you want the customers friend to be directed to once they click the link that they've been sent. By default, we send users to your homepage
⚠️ On stores with password protection, this warning may appear even if the widget is correctly installed. You can ignore the message in this case, or test using a live environment.

Without one of these widgets on the page, your customer’s friend won’t be able to start the referral process or claim their reward.
