What Does The Integration do?
Our integration with Skio will allow the user to:
Create Earn rules for when a Skio subscription is started.
Create Skio Redeem Rules.
Embed a widget on the Skio Customer Portal to allow users to redeem rewards there.
How Does It Work?
Integrating
Within Influence, navigate to Integrations >> Skio.
Within Skio, navigate to Account >> API.
Generate a new API key, name this something easy to identify like “Influence.io Integration.” Copy the key that is generated.
Paste this into the Influence dashboard within the relevant field.
While in the Influence Dashboard, copy the Webhook Target. Return to Skio, paste this within the Webhook section, and press Save Webhook.
Copy the Token from Skio and navigate back to Influence to add the webhook & press Save.
Influence & Skio are now integrated.
Earn & Redeem Rules
1. Earn Rule
a. Navigate to Earn & Redeem.
b. Press Add Option to earn, scroll until you see SKIO Subscription Created, and select this option.
c. Determine your settings for when the rule will be awarded, what this is called, and how many points it should be worth. You can also adjust the icon and if it is tier-specific.
2. Redeem Rules
a. Navigate to Earn & Redeem and scroll until you are at the Redeem section.
b. Press Add option to redeem and select one of the Subscription Rewards.
c. Determine your settings for how the discount will work—such as how many points it will cost and what the discount value should be.
Skio Earn & Redeem rules have now been created.
Skio Widget
We offer a widget that can be installed within the Skio Customer Account Portal to allow users to redeem subscription rewards.
Within the Influence Dashboard, navigate to Widgets & select Skio Widget.
Make any style changes you’d like to the widget & press Save.
Press Install, this will generate the code needed to add the widget to Skio. Copy the provided code.
Firstly, you’ll need to enable the headless widget. Press Go to Shopify Theme & enable the Headless widget app embed—if not done so already.
Navigate to Skio >> Custom Portal >> Portal Settings, scroll to the Custom Block, and paste in the code provided from the Influence Dashboard.
Publish the updates within Skio, and you will be able to see the widget within the Customer Account Page.
