Migration lets you bring your customers’ existing loyalty data into Influence, so they continue their journey without losing points or tier progress.
Whether you’re moving from another provider or refreshing your setup, these tools help ensure a smooth transition.
🔄 Migration in 6 Steps
Follow these steps to migrate smoothly
1️⃣ Prepare Your Program (but don’t enable it yet)
Recreate your Earn & Redeem rules and, if applicable, your Tiers inside Influence.

2️⃣ Check for Clean Data
Make sure there’s no unexpected points or tier data in your account.
If there is, contact us via Live Chat and we’ll reset it for you.
3️⃣ Export from Your Current Provider
Download your customers’ points balances and/or tier statuses into a CSV file.
4️⃣ Enable Your Program in Influence
Turn your program live at the same time as exporting, so all new activity is tracked.
⚠️ Don’t enable widgets yet — this avoids showing customers incomplete data.
5️⃣ Send Us Your Data
Upload the CSV to us via Live Chat. Our team will handle the import for you.
6️⃣ Set Widgets Live
Once we confirm the import is complete, enable your widgets.
🎉 Customers will see their correct balances and tiers on your site!

Do I need to run both imports?
No! You can choose to run one or both depending on what data you want to migrate.
Can I test the import before going live?
Yes, just make sure you don’t set the widgets live. You can check the data by enabling them once imported.
What happens if I make a mistake?
Don’t worry! We’ll reset the data and re-import the corrected file you send us.
