📚 Introduction

Points Import lets you bring in existing customer balances or add bonus points in bulk.

  • ✅ Use during migration from another provider (so balances carry over).

  • 🎁 Use anytime for promotions (e.g. bonus points for a holiday weekend).

Available on the Starter plan and above.

👉 If you’re migrating from another loyalty provider, check out our Migration Guide for the full process.

📂 What You’ll Need

Prepare a .CSV file with the following headers:

Email

Points

Action

1500

Platform Migration

500

Bonus Points

  • Email → The customer’s email address (required).

  • Points → The number of points to import (required).

  • Action → A short description of why the points were added (optional, but strongly recommended — this text will be shown to customers in widgets).

⚙️ Import Types

When sending us your file, let us know which type of import you’d like:

  • 🔄 Overwrite Balances → Replaces the customer’s existing point balance with the new value in your file.

  • Add to Balance → Adds the points in your file to the customer’s existing balance.

📤 How to Submit

1️⃣ Create your CSV following the format above.
2️⃣ Send the file to us on Live Chat.
3️⃣ Let us know why you’re importing: Is this a migration, adjusting balances, or giving away bonus points?

Our team will confirm once the import has been completed ✅.

👉 Doing a full migration? Follow our Migration Guide to make sure your program rules and settings are ready before importing.
