Introduction
Combination Discounts let you control how Influence rewards interact with other Shopify discounts at checkout. By enabling combinations, you can allow multiple discounts to be applied together — giving your customers a better experience while ensuring everything works correctly in Shopify.

When creating a reward in Influence, you select the reward type:
Free Shipping 🚚
Fixed Amount Discount 💷
Percentage Discount 📊
Product Discount 🛍️
Step 1: Enable Combinations in Influence.io
Before touching Shopify, enable the Combinations toggle on each redeem option in Influence.io:
Go to Loyalty Program → Earn & Redeem
Scroll to the redeem options section — these are your discount rewards (e.g. Fixed Amount, Free Shipping, Percentage)
Click into a redeem option to edit it
Enable the Combinations toggle
Save the rule
Repeat for each redeem option you want to stack
💡 The Combinations toggle is on redeem options only — it does not appear on earn rules (how customers earn points). Within Earn & Redeem, make sure you are editing a discount reward, not an earn rule.
Step 2: Configure Combinations in Shopify
Once the reward is generated, you configure combinations in Shopify. The available Shopify combination options are:
Order Discount → allows this reward to combine with other order-level discounts
Product Discount → allows this reward to combine with other product-level discounts
Shipping Discount → allows this reward to combine with other shipping discounts

Always verify the combinations in Shopify after creating the reward — this ensures your rules work correctly at checkout.
Not all combinations are possible for all reward types; Shopify only shows valid options.
Be mindful of large discounts when combining multiple rewards.
❓Check this feature is enabled on Shopify
Before setting up combined discounts in Influence, it’s a good idea to make sure your Shopify store has the Combinations feature active.
1️⃣ Go to your Shopify Admin.
2️⃣ Navigate to Discounts and click Create Discount.
3️⃣ Look for the Combinations card in the discount settings.
If you see the Order, Product, and Shipping options, the feature is enabled ✅.
Tip: If the Combinations card isn’t visible, reach out to Shopify support to confirm your store has access to this feature.
