Redeem rules let customers spend their points on rewards, like discounts, free products, or free shipping.

To manage earn rules:

  1. Go to Loyalty Program β†’ Earn & Redeem

  2. Click β€œAdd option to redeem” to start building a new rule

Configuration Options

  • Reward Value: How many points does this reward cost

  • Max Shipping Value: Set a cap on the shipping discount (e.g. up to Β£5).

  • Product Type Applicability: Apply to one-time purchases, subscription purchases or both

  • Combinations: Allow this discount to be combined with other promotions or not.

Configuration Options

  • Reward Value:

    • Fixed amount of points: Users will spend x points on x discount

    • Increments of points: Users will decide how many points to spend on the reward (i.e 10 points for Β£10, would allow the customer to also redeem 30 points for Β£30 using the same discount)

      • Maximum points caps the total discount the user can redeem

      • Minimum points requires a minimum amount of points the user must redeem

  • Product Type Applicability: Apply to one-time purchases, subscription purchases or both

How do I track donations?
Navigate to Earn & Redeem β†’ Donation Redeem Rule β†’ View Donators. You can also export the full list for reporting

Can customers donate to more than one charity?
Currently, each redeem rule allows selection of a single charity, but you can create multiple Donation Redeem Rules for different causes.

Does influence donate the money to the charity?
No. We provide the information of who has donated what points and you, as the merchant, are responsible for fulfilling the donation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why has this not created a % discount within Shopify?

The product discount does not use a discount code, and the customer just adds the product to the cart & we automatically apply the discount that the merchant has configured. This means if the cost of the product changed at any point, the discount will still be 100%.
