The Earn & Redeem feature is available on all plans, and provides a powerful way to reward customers for taking actions, driving engagement, and encouraging repeat purchases.
This guide is designed to help you launch your loyalty program as quickly as possible. Itβs not a full customization guide β but if you want to start rewarding customers and giving them ways to redeem points right away, this is the fastest way to go live.

To get started, youβll add two earn rules and one redeem rule for your loyalty program. We'll keep this as straight forward as possible, but it is important to remember that every business is unique and the rules you create should be bespoke to your needs.

Sign up on website: We'll give customers 100 points for this action
Make a Purchase: We'll give users 10 points per $/Β£/β¬ spent

Percentage Discount: We'll give customers 10% off when they redeem 1000 points
This works out to a customer needing to spend Β£100 before they can have a 10% discount. For their first discount they only have to spend Β£90 due to the welcome bonus

β Enabling Your Earn & Redeem Program
Once your earn & redeem rules are created, click enable in the top right corner. Your dashboard should look something like this:

You're now live! π
However, your customers can't use the points program just yet! We need to get widget content on your site, to make this functional.
π Widget Install
In the interest of speed, we'll just be using the floating widget, although you can use one of our other widgets.

When you click on the floating widget, you'll be greeted with the Widget Editor. Here you can make quick adjustments (like changing this match your brand colors, or brand voice).

Once you're happy with the customisation, press the Install button. The exact steps can differ depending on your platform

When you press Install you will be taken to the theme customiszer of your current active theme. Here you can enable the Floating Widget app embed, and the widget is live on your site! Just remember to save the changes.

When you press install, you'll be given the floating widget code block. However the relevant customer data needs to be passed into the code, otherwise we will not be able to display relevant data for your customers.
If you've followed the above steps correctly, you should see something like this on your website! If you've already enabled other sections of the Loyalty Program, or opted for a different widget, it may differ slightly. However, the Earn & Redeem sections will be present within whatever widget you've opted for.
When the customer is logged in they'll see their point balance

Whilst we could stop now, and have a fully functional earn & redeem program, we'll take a few extra minutes to also setup email communication.

When your customer earns points you can send them an email letting them know how many points they have earned & why they have been given them
First press edit on the template type. This will open the editor, as seen below
You can change the colours of the button to match your brand colours, or change the email text to better match your brands voice.
To active the email, you need to toggle the status at the top left of the editor.

When your customer spends their points, they will be shown the discount within the widgets & it'll be in their "available rewards" sections. You can also email their discount code directly to the customer

A step-by-step breakdown of what happens when customers earn & redeem points
Customer Signs up to site
When the customer signs up to your site and first creates their account, they'll be given the 100 sign up points which we configured. This will be visible in the widgets & will be emailed to the customerCustomer Places order
After the customer has placed the order they will be given the appropriate number of points for the order placed. This will also be emailed & be present within the widget historyCustomer Redeems Points
When the customer redeems their points, they will be given the discount code to copy & apply to their basket. This will also be available within the widget if they don't use the code & it will be emailed across to them
