A walkthrough guide for new users to Influence.io's Platform to setup your first Loyalty & Rewards program

1. Connect your BigCommerce Store with Influence.io

Within your BigCommerce store, you will need to install the Influence.io app and confirm access to your Influence.io Store πŸ‘‡

If you start your Loyalty program for the first time, you'll be taken to our Sign Up page within the Influence dashboard. Once this has been completed, click finish and you'll be directed to the dashboard homepage.

Note: If you already have an Influence.io account this page will ask you to either log out or continue. Continuing will mean your store and it's data will be accessible to any store already created under this account.


2. Apply your BigCommerce Settings βš™οΈ

Now that your Influence.io account is connected with your BigCommerce, you will need to make sure you are rewarding your customers for specific actions within your BigCommerce.

In our dashboard, head over to Settings > BigCommerce Settings > Order SettingsπŸ‘‡

This means that when an order is marked as Shipped within your BigCommerce points will be awarded to your customers. This will take us to the next step to determine what points you're awarding and their value!


3. Set up Reward Campaigns πŸ›

There are multiple ways you can reward your customers, allowing you to create a platform that is tailored to your customers.

The following settings can all be found within the Loyalty Program tab on the left-hand-side of the dashboard

3. Referrals

Note: You need to be on the Starter plan or higher to access this section

Referrals are a great way to attract new customers, by allowing your existing customers to refer their friends in exchange for rewards.

4. Emails πŸ“§

Note: You are able to do all of the email sending via Klaviyo instead of our platform, but this does require you to be on the Starter plan or higher. You can find out more information on how to do this here.

Once customers take actions based on the earn & redeem, referral and loyalty tier functionality you have created, a great way to engage with your customers is through our automated emails πŸ‘‡

You can edit the way your loyalty program widget and emails look like to suit your brand

To edit these email templates, select Emails on the left-hand side menu. Then select Edit on the email template you would like to design.


5. Widgets

To install the widgets on your site you need to go to Home >> Widgets

6. Going Live βœ…

Once you have completed all of the above steps, head back to the Home button on the left-hand menu and select Enable Programs.

You then have the ability to activate all parts of your program and apply each of the widgets to your live site which will automatically be installed.
